Meet the Creators
Travis Fredericks and Lisa Willows are the owners of Dark Alley Collectables. They are living the dream. Having both grown up in the coastal town of Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast and with a shared love for music, they went about opening a record shop back in 2019 with the shop becoming an instant hit with locals and visitors from all over NSW.
The vinyl revolution continues to grow. Older clients looking to relive their youth, and youth discovering what us older 'kids' have known all along.
The uniqueness of the vinyl and the magical sound that is portrayed from the record player. It is an art form all on its own. Even now, bands are releasing their albums on LP. The forecast is that vinyl will soon outsell CD's in Australia.
Trav is also known to play a rad tune under the alias Benje Travis. When Covid conditions allow, he can be found belting out the tunes in store and jamming with friends.
