Our Home Town, Port Macquarie

Updated: Oct 6, 2021

Dark Alley Collectables is located on Birpai land on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Traditionally regarded as the stop over destination when travelling from Sydney to Byron Bay, it boasts a magnificent range of beaches, bush walks, rainforests, a massive koala population and excellent choices of fine dining, wine selections and music venues.

Why wouldn't we want to live here.

Port Macquarie is the largest town in the region and has grown and developed into the magnificent placeit is today. We have great music venues when Covid allows.

Live bands play at most local pubs, and some big name bands visit Panthers to belt out some tunes. Every year our town hosts Festival of the Sun, a three day live music event at the Breakwall Tourist Park situated on the breakwall on Town Beach in the heart of town.

This year we had arranged Vibez in the Vines, with the amazing GanGajang headlining, however have had to postpone due to Covid. Located at Cassegrain Winery, it is the perfect venue to sit back, chill and relax to the muisc, eat amazing food, visit market stalls and have an all round amazing day out.

Along with music, we also have a great Art following, with each year our local council helping to run Art Walk Port Macquarie.

Where artists place their artwork along the foreshore of the town green for everyone to view The last few years have been a little different with Artists placing their works within local businesses for people to view, again thanks to covid.

We believe our town is pretty special and we would love you to come and visit when NSW is again up and running. It's our perfect piece of paradise
